Super Visa Insurance Checklist

Introduction

You need to have a Short-term visitor to Canada to have a Temporary Canada Visa. Within the visitor visa category, several options are available, each with a specific purpose. One of the most popular options for families in Brampton is the Super Visa Insurance policy, which allows parents and grandparents to visit their children and grandchildren in Canada.

With a Super Visa, applicants can enjoy multiple entries into Canada for up to ten years. Unlike a standard 10-year multiple-entry visa, which only allows a six-month stay at a time, the Super Visa permits extended stays of up to two years per visit (updated to five years in 2022). This makes it an excellent option for families who want their loved ones to spend more time together in Brampton and across Canada.

To qualify for a Super Visa, applicants must meet specific requirements, including proof of financial support, a valid Super Visa Insurance policy from a Canadian insurance company, and medical clearance. Super Visa Insurance in Brampton ensures that parents and grandparents have the health coverage during their stay, protecting them from costly medical expense

Final Thoughts

The above is for information only. There are several other items that the visa officer may check before you get your visa, and you’re allowed to visit Canada. Being an experienced insurance advisor, I would recommend that you keep checking IRCC’s website for all necessary documents and forms, along with the most recent checklist.
